Spectrometers are devices that include a spectrograph for wavelength separation and a detector for measuring signal. These two components of a spectroscopy experiment are so intertwined that they get a collective term to describe them. StellarNet has a wide array of spectrometers for signals from the UV to the NIR. All StellarNet spectrometers use fibers to pass the light into them and connect to computers for reading the signal.
