StellarNet Universal Driver SDK provides a powerful, flexible, and platform independent interface for integrating our spectrometer devices into your custom applications. Delivered as compiled dynamic libraries, including DLLs for Windows, so libraries for Linux, and dylib libraries for macOS, it supports both 32 bit and 64 bit architectures. Whether you are developing in Python, C, C Sharp, Java, MATLAB, or Excel VBA, this SDK gives you the complete freedom to build on your preferred operating system and programming language.
StellarNet hardware can be pushed to its absolute limit while significantly accelerating your custom development timeline. The Universal Driver SDK provides the core functions needed for direct device control, high speed data acquisition, and real time spectral calculations. We also include quick start coding examples so you can jump straight into capturing real time spectra and bringing your custom spectrometer application to life!

Software License Agreement (SLA)
All customizable source codes and programs require an executed Software License Agreement and proof of spectrometer purchase. Often a photo of the bottom label of your spectrometer is needed to ensure compatibility of your requested software with your hardware. A photo also provides fantastic proof of ownership. Please email your requests to Software@StellarNet.us and provide the required material in advance to expedite this process.
Customization & Compatibility Requests
We currently offer a variety of standard compilations of our StellarNet Universal Driver SDK to support Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi, macOS, and many other operating systems out of the box. However, if your specific system architecture or unique environment is not yet listed, our engineering team can easily compile a custom build for you. Please fill out our Software License Agreement (SLA) with your exact system requirements, and a technical sales representative will get back to you right away!
Typically recompilations or small modifications to currently available software is billed at our software engineers’ hourly rate of $250/hour with a minimum of 2 hours per project. Please don’t hesitate to contact our team of SpectraWizards for help 🙂
