StellarPro V2.6.1 Newest Updates

StellarPro Software Update — New Features & Improvements
We’ve been continuing to build out StellarPro with a focus on making everyday workflows smoother while adding more capability where it matters. This update brings a mix of new features, usability improvements, and stability fixes across spectroscopy, radiometry, and advanced analysis tools.

Key Updates

  • Customizable Workspace Layouts
You can now arrange windows the way you want and save those layouts for later. Switching between different setups is quick, which helps if you’re working across multiple applications or workflows.
  • Additional Data Metrics
We’ve added new analysis options, including Area (Integral), Signal Ratio (A/B), and Area Ratio (A/B). These are available for supported spectrum types and make it easier to extract meaningful comparisons from your data.
  • Integrated Hardware Control
Control for light sources, shutters, and lasers is now built directly into the software. This keeps everything in one place and reduces the need for external tools during operation.
  • Expanded Radiometer Functionality
Radiometer data now includes additional values such as CRI (R1–R14), u, v, u’, v’, Duv, foot-lambert, and CIE XYZ. There’s also a calibration expiration indicator, so it’s easier to keep track of when recalibration is needed.
  • Session Recording Enhancements
Session recording has been expanded to support Scope, Raman, Thin Film, Haze, Spectral ID (top matches), and ChemWiz-ADK. You can also choose to record a single dataset when needed, which helps keep files more focused.
  • Raman Workflow Improvements
We’ve simplified parts of the Raman workflow, including automatic selection of excitation wavelength (532, 785, or 1064 nm). You can now save mapping data with processing steps and reload it later to regenerate maps without starting over.
  • Multi-Channel and Processing Updates
Running multiple channels simultaneously is now supported with live graph display. Data processing has also been improved with per-channel control and the option to review data before applying processing steps.
  • Graphing and UI Updates
You now have more control over graph appearance, including line size, color, and scaling (manual or auto). We’ve also made general UI refinements and improved how settings are saved and restored between sessions.
  • Stage and Device Integration
Keyboard control has been added for Zaber stages (movement and homing), and driver support has been expanded, including Andor integration. Overall device communication has also been made more reliable.

Fixes and Stability Improvements
This release also addresses several issues we’ve seen in the field:

  • Fixed hot pixel correction not applying during scans
  • Resolved a Zaber stage issue where captures would not trigger
  • Fixed Raptor device detection issue related to driver identifiers
  • Corrected radiometer settings resetting between captures
  • Fixed multi-channel settings inconsistencies
  • Addressed issues with Spectrometer Linker item removal
  • General bug fixes and performance improvements
