UV-VIS-NIR Sources-
Low Output Power |
SL5 Deuterium / Halogen Combination
- A miniature Deuterium
and
halogen light source that covers the 200-1700nm range
- Small size of 1.5 x 2.5 x
6" makes it a perfect match for our
BLACK-Comet UV-VIS spectrometer
- The SL5-DH lamp connects
via fiber optic cable to cuvette holders, dip probes, and flow cells,
with the return signal routed to the spectrometer SMA 905
input connector
- The deuterium and halogen
lamps can be individually turned on/off and have a front and rear
panel shutter control
- Great for
applications that only require low output power like absorbance and
transmission measurements
|
 |
SL5-CUV
- A miniature Deuterium
and
halogen light source that covers the 200-1700nm range
- Small size of 1.5 x 2.5 x
6" makes it a perfect match for our
BLACK-Comet

UV-VIS-NIR Sources-
High Output Power |
SL4-DT Deuterium / Halogen Combination
- SL4-DT Deuterium & Tungsten Light is a
miniature Deuterium and Tungsten halogen
light source that covers the 200- 2300nm range in a single light source for
spectroscopy measurements. It’s high
output power enables use for reflectance
measurements, where other low power light
sources like SL5-DT are too weak.
- Miniature Size - Small size of 72 mm x 40mm x 90 mm makes it a
perfect match for StellarNet
miniature spectrometers:
- D-alpha line (654nm) eliminated in deuterium
source.
- The deuterium and halogen
lamps can be individually turned on/off and have a front and panel shutter control
- Portability - The combination of both lamps into
one small enclosure reduces complexity and can
be connected to the BP2 battery pack for field
applications.
**Note- this product is only recommended for applications that
require high output power (e.g. reflectance), portability, and small
size

UV-VIS-NIR Sources -
High Output Power |
SL1 +SL3 Deuterium and
Tungsten Halogen Combination
- The high power SL1-Filter Halogen lamp and
the SL3 Deuterium lamp with DCX lens installed can easily be coupled
with a fiber optic Y-bundled fiber to provide high output, stable
UV-VIS-NIR light, 200-2300nm, with long bulb lifetime
- The F400-YBNIRUV-SR is an armored
400um fiber optic Y cable bundle that is
0.5 meter, solarization resistant,
and is specially designed to connect
the SL1 and SL3
lamps
- D-alpha line (654nm) eliminated in deuterium
source by adding a U330 filter to the
nosecone of the SL3 light source
**Note- this product is recommended for applications that require
high output power (e.g. reflectance) and do not require demanding
portability or size characteristics. Bulb life and robust design are
the the main advantages over SL4
