Real-time measurements of plant stress and growth
rate are important components of ecosystem analysis and
precision agriculture. Apogee Instruments, Inc. in Logan, UT,
has refined the use of the StellarNet spectroradiometer to image plants
to predict growth rate and identify stress. Apogee Instruments
distributes the
StellarNet spectroradiometer and provides custom software and
customer support for these applications. Spectroradiometer
measurements allow us to determine plant growth rate, percent ground
cover, nitrogen status, and water stress.
